Mark Patterson

Having joined the University in September 2016, I am responsible for the strategic delivery of outreach and widening participation activities for the University's Medicine and Health programmes. I also work with colleagues in admissions and marketing to ensure our admissions processes are fair and widen access to careers within the NHS.

I am the outreach and widening participation lead for the Schools of Healthcare and Medicine, managing outreach programmes and events to support students applying to courses such as Medicine, Nursing and Radiography, as well as lesser known programmes such as Audiology and Cardiac Physiology.

In addition to this, I deliver a wide range of talks and workshops to students studying at schools and colleges across the country, who aspire to study a healthcare course at university.
