Welcome to our Being a Dentist resource for primary school pupils.
Produced by Open Wide, our volunteer dental outreach group at the University of Leeds, these resources have been designed to introduce primary aged pupils to the work of the Dental Team, and to cover aspects of dental hygiene and healthy eating.
In this resource, you will find;

- A facilitator guide to be used by teachers and dental professionals delivering this resource to young people
Being a Dentist - Introductory Video
Our primary activity book contains a number of activities, which will help pupils learn about the work of the Dental Team, oral hygiene and healthy eating.
The workbook can be download and printed as a booklet to be completed in person.

Our helpful facilitator guide has been designed for use by teachers, teaching assistants, parents and carers, as well as dental professionals who may be working with pupils interested in finding out more about Dentistry.
The various activities will help pupils develop their Science, English and Maths skills.
