Health and Social Care Taster Days

Our Health and Social Care taster days offer students the opportunity to explore the various healthcare courses on offer at the University of Leeds.

Students will have the opportunity to meet our academics, who through a number of subject taster sessions, will bring their courses to life. They will also get the chance to speak to our current students and have a tour of our campus and clinical skills facilities. Finally, students will hear from our admissions staff, who will go through the application process and why students should choose to study at the University of Leeds.

Who are these events for?

Our Health and Social Care taster days are suitable for Year 12 and Year 13 / first and second year college students studying on one of the following routes, and who are interested in a career in Health and Social Care:

  • a Health and Social Care or Applied Science BTEC, CTEC or CACHE diploma
  • an Access to Higher Education course related to health and social care
