We're excited to be hosting a Preparing for Interviews workshop for local aspiring medics, in collaboration with the Leeds Access to Medicine Society.
About the event
This three hour workshop will take place at the University of Leeds Medical School on Saturday 23rd November.
During the workshop, you will find out more about the medical schools admissions and interviews process. You will take part in a medical ethics workshop, and also get the opportunity to partake in a Mock MMI. There will also be the opportunity for you to speak to current medical students about their experiences.
Eligibility Criteria
To apply for a place on this event, you must:
- Be a current Year 13 student who has applied to study Medicine for 2025 entry
- Be studying at a sixth form or college in West Yorkshire
- Live in a postcode area with low progression to higher education (you can check your postcode here).
Priority will be given to students who are taking part in the University's Reach for Excellence or Realising Opportunities programmes, as well as students from a group that is under-represented in medical education here at Leeds.
