About this event
Do you want to know more about studying Dentistry? Do you want to find out what Dental Hygienist and Dental Therapists do in their day to day role?
Our Year 12 Dentistry Taster Day will provide students with a range of activities and workshops that will give them an insight into studying these courses at university. Students can expect to meet academic colleagues and current students from the School of Dentistry who will take them on a journey through the various professions they represent.
Please note - the date of this event is subject to change as we are in the process of confirming room allocations for 22/23.
Eligibility Criteria
This event is suitable for first year A Level / Year 12 students with an interest in studying Dentistry or Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy. Attendees should also be studying A Level Biology and Chemistry and have achieved at least 6 GCSE’s at Grade 6 including Maths, English, Chemistry and Biology (or dual-award Science).
Students may also be studying a BTEC in Applied Sciences.
