About this event
Our Access to HE - Healthcare Taster Day is designed to give you an insight into the Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work programmes at the University of Leeds.
Throughout the day, you will take part in academic taster sessions, to give you a flavour of what studying these courses and professions would be like at university. You will also find out about support available from both the School of Healthcare and the Lifelong Learning Centre during your time at Leeds.
The day will also include lunch in our Students' Union, and an advice and information session from our dedicated outreach colleagues. The day will end with an optional tour of the Leeds campus, where you can explore our libraries and wider facilities available to you at Leeds.
Who's it for?
This event is suitable for students currently studying an Access to HE Diploma in a health related discipline, who are interested in finding out more about studying Nursing, Midwifery or Social Work at university.
Travel bursaries are available to support with the cost of getting to Leeds for this event.
